Hi
Can I just overwrite the various files using FTP? or do I have to do an uninstall and an install?
And is that the same for both the component and the plugin?
Thanks for your help

Well I've upgra
Well I've upgraded by uninstalling both the component and the plugin, then installing the latest version.
Big Mistake!
Installation went OK, the categories were kept, but not the gallery images.
So I multiple added them to the categories. Then renamed some of them. Moved to the next category. All the images had disappeared in the component. So I added them again. Now I can't see the images in the component, but I have two sets of images in the front end !! I cant remove them, because I can't see them in the component!
I checked the previous category and there I can't see the images either. So backend adds images but they disappear.
Help!!!!

Another update.
Another update.
I logged off and logged on again. I could now see all the images as a long list. When I selcted the categorie filter, I couldn't see any of the images. Only without the categorie filter.
In this way, I was able to delete the duplicates created earlier (see post above). So now everything seems to be OK, but I can't use the categorie filter. This is a bit of a problem, as currently there about 100 images with more to come.
Look forward to the next update.
In summary: Jan, you are building a great component here and I will continue to use and recommend it.
Regards
David
