search a Picture

Hi,

I use the Phocagallery 2.7.7 and Joomla 1.5, but i have a prolem with the search of Pictures.
The picture was found with the joomla search (Phoca gallery search pugin), but when the user click on the picture, he should see the picture in the slimbox or what else and not the category. Is this possible?

Hi, no, this is not possible, because the search outcomes are produced by Joomla! not by Phoca and Joomla! itself does not have loaded all the libraries to display the image in popup (javascript) window. So this needs to be customized in the Joomla! if needed

I have the exact same problem. But how can we change this ?? so after search you are redirected to the picture you searched on?

Hi, then you need to set that the detail images will be not displayed in popup and you will customize the search plugin (the url do detail of image), if you need the popup directly from the search outcomes, then you need to load all the framework which is included in Phoca Gallery to the Joomla! core search component (but no detailed advices, as I didn't do such modification yet, so I don know what should be changed there )

Did somebody found a workaround for Joomla 2.5?

I am building all my client sites in Joomla 2.5 and I always use NO POPUP because it is the best way to make the gallery indexible by search engines. So it is essential for the Phoca Search Plugin search result to link directly to the detail. It's kind of useless otherwise, since some of my categories have MANY images that don't show up on the first page, which would be totally confusing to a viewer who searched for a specific image. I'm crossing my fingers that this can become a feature.

Only part missing is a thumbnail preview on the search results. Did somebody found a workaround?
