Hello you doing?

First of all I apologize for my English, I am Brazilian and I am using a translator.
I have Phoca Gallery with Slideshow, the Phoca Gallery Random Image Gallery Plugin Module Phoca and installed and enabled.
I love it all, I think is the best gallery of photos I have seen, but I am having problems with the code of Plugin.
I want to leave my home this way: https://www.phoca.cz/phocagallery/demo/i ... ery-plugin
But I do not know how or where to place the code of Plugin, I tried reading all the explanations in the forum, but not understood.
I ask please explain to me detail where and how I put this code:

Plugin Code:

phocagallery view = switchimage | switchheight = 360 | switchwidth = 480 | basicimageid = 71
phocagallery view = category | categoryid = 15 | limitstart = 0 | limitcount = 5 | detail = 0 | displayname = 1 |
displaydetail = 1 | displaydownload = 1 | imageshadow = shadow1 | enableswitch = 1

Thank you very much for your attention

Hi Antonio,

Hi Antonio,

it is quite easy:
Put the code in the article you are writing, at the right place. In this case it is below your tekst.

Put everything between these brackets: { and }
Do not use spaces, except between phocagallery and view.
And fill in the correct numbers for basicimageid and categoryid. You can find the id's in your backend.

In the example below I made red what you have to fill in.

{phocagallery view=switchimage|switchheight=360|switchwidth=480|basicimageid=xx}

{phocagallery view=category|categoryid=xx|limitstart=0|limitcount=5|detail=0|displayname=1|
displaydetail=1|displaydownload=1|imageshadow=shadow1|enableswitch=1}

Good luck,

Carolien

Carolien Hi, thank you for your attention.

Excuse my ignorance, I used to work with the oscommerce, is the first time that I am stirring with Joomla, and I am having difficulty in solving small problems, which seem easy to you is still complicated for me.
I know it is annoying when a person loses time with those who seem not understand anything, but I will need a more detailed explanation.
An example: I do not know what is the article I am writing, I do not know what is tekst, and I do not know how to find the id's in my backend.
I needed the name of the folder and file in which I have to make changes, the
to find the exact place id'se so on, until I am embarrassed to ask this aid but in fact I am completely lost.

Thank you for the patience and attention

Hi Antonio,

I know it can be hard...

Joomla exists from 2 parts: a frontend and a backend. So that is why I am not pointing you toward folders and files. I suggest you find some quickstart manual about Joomla. Easy to find via Google. There you know when and how to write an article. 'tekst' means text in Dutch, so I made a small writing mistake, I'm sorry

Follow then the Phoca Gallery User Manual. And then the Phoca Gallery Plugin Help.

In the backend you can find the id's when you created a category and uploaded some images. I hope you understand my messages when you've read the manuals.

Good luck!

Hi Carolien!

Again, thank you for your attention and patience.
What is happening is this: I have managed to leave the Phoca Gallary working exactly as I want, if you come on my page that still do this in the construction, vai you see that everything right.
Please www.ecommercedobrasil.com.br and between the main menu on ComĂŠrcio EletrĂ´nico that this just below the Home, is exactly what I want.
Only that I wanted it all in the home in place that photo of a large Oscommerce, and I still can not understand where do I put the code for the plugin that works in the home.
Note: I read the manuals that you passed me, it was a great help, now I already know where is the id'se also learned much things with the manuals.
Only he can not believe that the vai such code.

Carolien Thank you!

I suppose you have the standard homepage of Joomla.

You have to find the article "eCommercedoBrasil" and add the code in that article. In your backend, this article has a mark in the 'frontpage' column in the article overview. This means that it is published on the frontpage.

You can also give the article you linked to with Comercio Eletronico this mark. (Modelos de Lojas) I think it should appear on top of the frontpage, but I am not sure.

So here are 2 ways to get there. I hope you succeed,

Carolien

Hi Carolien!

Have! Thanks to your great help! Neither know how thank, but I very happy if one day I can repay this huge favour.
I learned a lot from you, even a word in Dutch "Tekst."
Learn that now you have a friend in Brazil.

Thank you very much
Antonio Carlos
