Security
A friend suggested that I check out Phoca Gallery as an option for a Joomla site I am building for a client. Can anyone tell me if they are already using this component for a photographer site? Also, can individual albums be password protected for clients to view only their albums?

Re: Security
Hi, yes, the album can be protected.
And you can do more security actions, see e.g. here:
https://www.phoca.cz/documents/2-phoca-g ... ntegration (see the important - orange text)

Re: Security
I'm not too sure phoca is safe to use at all.
This is the message I get when I try to multiple upload photos:
"The application's digital signature cannot be verified"
"This application will run with unrestricted access to your personal files and other facilities (webcam, microphone) on your computer"
The publisher name is unverified and therefore listed as UNKNOWN. Run this application only if you trust the source (web site) the application is from"
"The digital signature was generated with an untrusted certificate"
Nico.

Re: Security
Hi, I don't know such messages, you need to know which application is serving you such messages and which action is calling - e.g. java upload, etc.?

Re: Security
Hi Jan, I should have mentioned, it is java upload that is sending the message. Every time I try to upload multiple photos I get the message. Do you know if there is any way around this?
