and are cut off.
Hi there!
As the subject says, I have several articles on my website that are rather long-titled and are not displayed properly in the header. Seems that the title doesn't break automatically and the line is just being cut off at the end of the page.
Any hints or workarounds?
Thanks & Bye,
Stephan

Hi, did you try to resize the header area (margin of site and header)?

Hey Jan!
The standard settings didn't work, so I tried to change some values. I increased/decreased the page margins, changed the font, font size and alignment within the header. The problem is still there and I don't have any more ideas. I even changed the CSS settings for the article titles and the container around it, but it didn't work.

Hmmm, then no idea there, maybe there needs to be some customization, I am testing now and works ok for me

Hey Jan!
Thanks for your research. Something different came to my mind this morning. When I installed the component, I tried to copy the files you mentioned in the documentation:
I don't know what I made wrong, but I can't find these files/folders in the location you mentioned. They aren't included in the install-package and so they're logically missing in the later joomla-component-folder.
Thanks so far,
Stephan

I did. I installed the package for another joomla-website (both ver. 1.5.23), it didn't work either.Jan wrote:Hi, then recheck if you have clicked on Full Install while installing of Phoca PDF
In the specified folder administrator/components/com_phocapdf/files/ is only one subfolder, labeled 'phocapdf'. The files you said to be copied don't even exist in the installation-package (com_phocapdf_v1.0.9.zip), so where should they come from?

Hi, the guide is for 1.6 only, in 1.5 there is no need to modify article files as they include pdf icon.

Ah, ok. I didn't notice that, my fault.
Nevertheless, it doesn't work and I don't have a clue, why.

Hi there!
Is there a solution existing for this problem, now?
Otherwise we could not use phoca-pdf!

Dirk
