Since a couple of weeks I have the problem that the back-end of my site load very slow. I takes about 20 to 30 seconds to finish. Today I updated to the newest version of Phocagallery.(1.8.6)
Sinds then my site doesn't finish at all loading the back-end. I also installed it on a new (fresh) install of Joomla!. And there I had the same problem. I could not go through -components - intall, so I opent the database in PHP MyAdmin and removed the componenttables en records. After that, everything was back to normal.
Does anyone recognize this??

I suppose you do not
I suppose you do not understand my problem?
When I go to the admin part of my site, the page keeps loading, as it also shows this message in the statusbar. While it is loading, I can not use the menuitems like website / menuitems / ... (etc.) After maybe 30 seconds it had finished loading.
Another site had the same problem after I installed Phocagallery. I uninstalled it through PHPMyAdmin and the problem was over.
So it seem to me that Phoca Gallery (for the rest a great component is the problem.

Yes, I understand, b
Yes, I understand, but Phoca doesn't use any javascript in backend, and use only standard joomla framework, so I don't know what can cause the problem and don't know how can Phoca Gallery influence the back site when it is not loaded yet (e.g. via menu) ???
