Hi. I have my own icon for markers. It is possible to add it to the Phoca Maps? In editor I find a possibility to add them on the form but finally on the map - Phoca display only enable marker. I need 15-20 different icons for markers and Phoca offers only 10.
Sorry for my english and please help me in my marker adventure.
Replacing the existing icons with my own artwork is easy enough but if I upload my own icon, add it via the icons tab and publish it, then in the Marker creation designate my external icon, nothing shows on the map.
I did. I don't know where this is going wrong but here's my steps.
1. I go to the icons tab, select New and direct it to my external icon. I dropped it in the same folder as the others just to be sure. Screen cap: bit.ly/qwgf5u
2. Save it and make sure it's published (the icons is visible). Screen cap: bit.ly/qEdefB
3. Create a new marker. Screen cap: bit.ly/pwxkx8
4. Designate the external icon: Screen cap: bit.ly/ovillU
5. Save the marker and ensure it's published. Screen cap: bit.ly/p7noZ6
6. Test it on the frontend and the icon is missing: Screen cap: bit.ly/pcKVK3
7. Go back into the marker settings, set the External Icon pull down back to "Select Icon" and choose one of the existing pre-set icons like a star and save.
8. Test it on the frontend and the icon shows perfectly! Screen cap: bit.ly/qZRGxe
I remedied the situation by replacing one of the pre-set existing icons I knew I wouldn't use on my map with my own icon artwork and select it. That works perfectly.
Did I miss a step or am I doing something incorrectly?
