kml route does not show up

Hi, I am new to this forum. I checked the forum several times to solve my problem but without success.

Here is my problem:
I have phoca maps version 1.1.1 installed on Joomla 1.5. My browser is Firefox.
I set up a map centered correctly and with the correct zoom.
I uploaded an kmz-file (11042500.kmz) into the photamapskml folder and activated the kml configuration in the menue. Furthermore, in Joomla configuration-system I added kmz and kml as allowed extensions.
The route does not show up!
So I unpacked the kmz-file on my computer and uploaded only the kml-file without images into the phocamapskml folder (11042500.kml). Nothing changes! The route does not show up.

What else can I do? I am certain there is only a little thing I have overlooked, but what?

Hi Jan, thanks for your reply. I changed meanwhile to Joomla 1.6, Phoca Maps version 2.0.0 and have the same problem. In Phoca Maps configuration: Enable kml file Loading = Yes, Display print route = Yes.

Hi Jan, I found the problem: I uploaded the file without the .kml -extension. This solved the problem.

Is there any chance to change the routing markers and make a line instead of the huge circles?

Hi, there are a lot of markers, but I don't have any experiences how to create a line there It needs to be customized in the code

Hi Jan,

Problem solved. I changed the kml-file, exported from my data-logger. I used a file from Google - kml -documentation and copied the coordinates into that file. Everything works fine now as you can see from the link I sent you before.
