Max number of images?

Hi,

Can Phoca handle large database with about 300.000 images?

I have a huge collection of graphics, cliparts, images... but I am not sure that it will work well if I put it all in Phoca.

Hi, I think, it doesn't depends on Phoca Gallery but on your server settings and Joomla! (there is allways the pagination, so there should not be the problem, possible problem can be in category select box - if there are a lot of categories...

Image - if you use pagination thumbnail creation, thumbnails will be created per page - no problem there

But 3.000 pages (pagination 100) I cannot say what will do the pagination ???

Hi Jan,

I have added over 1000 images and find a first problem. "Display Subcategories on each page" in set to Yes but it shows only first 20 images without links Next.

Did you have set the pagination for categeries view. all subcategories get parameters from categories view setting

in menu manager - categories view link - in parameters basic (try to save the link, it should be automatically created)

hi Jan,
my problem sound like mr.camelot, i use com_phocagallery_v2.0.0_beta.zip

the pagination not show

and i have done set in :
Phoca Gallery Control Panel - Global Configuration - Global Configuration = Yes
Phoca Gallery Control Panel - Global Configuration - Pagination Default Value = 15

I think it's some kind of error the pagination not show,
how to fix it?
