When using the default template, is it at all possible to remove/replace the Joomla! logo and text in the header bar?

But maybe you have some resriction there (to remove the template or joomla logo) ??? If not you can remove it there...

Thanks! I actually found that it can be removed from the Media Manager, and replaced thru the .css files in an external editor.

Another question I have, if you can to try...
In the default template, with sample data added, the left menu of the rhuk_milkyway template, content and menu boxes are bordered in a nice fram. When I load the template without sample data, said frame disappears. Is that also editable throu the html files and/or css?

If you want to have a box for the menu, you should go to module manager, select the menu module, e.g. Main Menu and in advanced parameters you should add the _menu into the module class suffix
