Hi,
I'm currently experimenting with your menu system - so far I was using a more complex method to achieve a similar result. I find the concept simple and easy to understand, but I can't get the submenus I create to show up...
This is a 1.7 test site, it's on a local server that's not accessible from the outside (I'm just testing J1.7 for now), so unfortunately I can't give anyone access. Just to make sure I've made an attempt with one of your free templates, so this isn't a template problem as far as I can tell.
I've created a new HTML content with a picture and some text in it, then made a new menu item. It's affected to one of the root items of the only menu of that site, the "show sub-menu items" setting of that menu is set to yes, and the menu is affected to the "menu" position of the template I'm currently using. The normal menu sub-items do show just fine, but those made from your component don't.
I'm sure I must have missed something... Any idea what it might be?
Thanks.
Seb.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
I've done it again on an other site and still can't get it right... I have a feeling the JS that belongs to Phoca Template isn't loaded. What should I be looking for in the page's code to make sure it is or not? And if it is not is there something I should add in my template?
Thanks.

Hi, do you see some error or anything to be sure, some of the javascript is not loaded?

No... It's just that there is not anything that seems to belong to Phoca Template in the page's header. I was expecting it to include it in there, no?

Can I see the site where this occurs?

Re: Can't get the menu to show up... Did I miss something?
I've made it available to the outside world since my first post, so I'll send you the details by PM if you wish to have a look.
As I said I might simply have overlooked something... But if it is more than that you might be interested into finding out what's going on.
Edit: no PMs? how can I send you those login details privately?

Re: [solved] Can't get the menu to show up...
Solved! Thanks to Jan. It was finally something so... Simple!
You've got to use a PTF enabled template for it to work. And both my own templates the the Phoca template I tried (Phoca Color) are not. It started working as soon as I installed Phoca Rhein!
Thanks for your help.
