No thumbs created - doesnt show images

I had a thread on this, but I think it got lost in the forum move...

Anyways, the thumbs does not get created and I do not get a "creating thumbs" page when I have uploaded a photo....

I have reinstalled and can upload a few smaller pics, but when I choose to upload 6 2mb pics, the process stops with a link to "stop thumbnail creation".......

Hi, maybe you get some php error message (mostly is thie the message about memory), but maybe your php error reporting is disabled, so you cannot see the error message (the error message is a fatal error so It cannot be handled by Joomla!)... if you can, try to enable the error reporting on your server, if not, mostly users get the error message from php that they don't have enough memory to create thumbnail by their GD library

OK, its a hosted solution so I cant change the server....so my solution is to upload smaller sized pics?
