My category list is in an article page using the plugin. The categories look right and link to gallery pages properly. But each gallery of photo thumbnails shows only 20 photos even if the list has 36 photos.
I cannot figure out where there is any control to add pagination. It is enabled in my site but does not work here at all. I see no listing for either the component or the plugin to turn on pagination.
I cannot see more than 20 photos, nor can I link to the rest. Is this the limit? Must I make all categories only 20 pictures or less?

Re: limit of 20 photos - no pagination option?
I am so sorry - I must be really blind. I went over and over the global configuration for the site and I can't find "list length" anywhere in any of the three sections.
Is there another "global configuration" specific to Phoca Gallery? I see parameters but that doesn't have it.
I'm sorry - I'm stumped - where is it please?
thank you,
macuser

it is not the Phoca Gallery global configuration. It is the Joomla! Global Configuration (sorry for net being accurate)

THANK YOU!!! I finally saw it. I looked at that Global Config for Joomla over and over and never saw it before. How simple. Fixed everything!!!
Thank you so much! This gallery is wonderful!
And by the way I did make a donation too.

By the way . . . now that we have solved this . . . is there any way to resolve the SEF issue? When you updated this gallery, which by the way is very nice of course, my question on SEF disappeared. Should I repost it? I still have that problem. I need SEF but click to enlarge and the images go 404 on me when it is turned on.
I am so impressed with the work you have done here . . . in your spare time.

after upgrade, you must resave the menu links (upgrade problem in Joomla! maybe it will be solved in 1.6)

Re: limit of 20 photos - no pagination option?
Dear Jan
Again I must be blind but I cannot understand your instructions. It makes sense but I just can't get the images to show in the popup box when I click on them with SEF on and here are my questions on your posted instructions:
Instruction:"After upgrading a component, default settings will be set to default (it means that e.g. Pagination will be disabled, ...). You must set parameters in default settings again. Parameters component in menu link will be not changed."
Question: What does this mean? I see "parameters" in Gallery - this needs to be reset completely - right? But where is "parameters component in menu link" - which menu link? which menu?
Instruction: "If you use SEF, menu links will be invalid and you must refresh them. If you want to fix the settins just go to the Menu and click on the Phoca Gallery menu link. You are now in in Menu Item [edit]. Click on Save button. Phoca Gallery menu link will be refreshed - SEF will work again and e.g. Pagination will be displayed.)."
Question: The Phoca Gallery menu link I see for Categories has got a save button, and I have resaved every category. But with SEF I still cannot see the photos in the popup box - all 404 errors still. . . . Then I go to the Gallery page. But the Gallery page has no save button - so where do I click on the save button here? It has parameters but there is no pagination item in the parameters. Do I need to reload every photo? Even the newly loaded photos still will not appear in the box - new since upgrade.
I am so sorry I just am still so confused. Please tell me where I need to save and I will resave everything.

parameters component in menu link parameters in menu link which link to your gallery (categories or category view - in Menu Manager):

If you have resaved the menu links (e.g. after update) and it still not work, there can be some other problem with SEF, try to read this guide:
