Change icon

I wanted to change one of the default icons to a custom icon? What is the path for this? Can I just ftp into the path and change it out?

I tried to do an external icon however it doesnt show up and the map just comes back as blank.

I am using joomla 1.7.

Hi, you can add your own icon in the administration, just ftp your icon somewhere on your server and add this link to the edit of the icon you will create.

I dont understand the above. So I just ftp to my site images folder. Add the image there. And then what?

See the path to the icon in your browser, copy it and add it in Icon edit.
