Hello guys,
Im a bit of a noob to phoca and joomla and I wanted to get an expert opinion on what i'm trying to do,
Here is a link to the gallery to view: http://www.diaz-marta.com/arquitectura/ ... senos.html
I have a couple of dilemas, its a Category structure, have 4 types of categories (commercial, residential, restaurant-bar,hotels) then inside will be a category for each project, I would like to make those thumbnails bigger, a bit more captivating if you know what I mean, then the thumbnails of actual photos can be that size, but i would like to be able to present the categoires in a more captivating way. I have not for the life of me been able to succesfully resize the thumbnails, there is nothing in the parameters in phocagallery or in the main menu parameters that has thumbnail size, maybe a point in the right direction?
A problem I had with that theme is that linking to the root gallery made that smoothgallery slideshow break on the top, so I had to create a category named (principal) and then in there put the 4 categories, basically using principal as the root.
I am open to any suggestions for the site, maybe if anyone knows of a way to show anything on the main page that will alert on new additions, or how to structure the gallery. I was thinking of linking to each of the 4 categoires and the Root category from the main menu at http://www.diaz-marta.com/arquitectura/
Any tips/suggestions are welcome, i am sure there is something really cool that can be done and has been done, i am open to anything, its for an architecture company for my uncle and we want to have good slideshows and good visuals integrated into the website.
Thanks again.

Re: Phoca help on joomla display
I am aware of the parameter components I have seen and played with them, as well as I have read the user manual, but exactly the link you sent me is the one that is confusing regarding the thumbnails, none of those images are labeled as the thumbnail, yet on the paragraph it mentions what you need to do if you resize the thumbnail.
Any idea if the thumbnails are the Small Image, medium image? Or is it some other setting somewhere else?

In this link:
https://www.phoca.cz/phocagallery/user-m ... w-resizing
there is described that:
there is large image, medium image and small image. All are thumbnails. the original image is an original image.
- Large image (thumbnail) is used in front and in backend (in detail view)
- medium image (thumbnail) is used in front (in category view - list of images or in categories view - list of categories)
- small image (thumbnail) is used in front (in categories view - if you have set it in parameters) or in backend in category view - image list...
So if you want to change the image in detail view (modal box or popup box), you will change the large image
If you want to change the image in box in image list (category view), you will change the medium image,
