Only Uncategorised shows on page

I am using Joomla 1.7.2 and have downloaded and installed Phoca Documentation Module (1.1.0) and Component (2.0.1), but not the Navigation plugin (don't need it). I have published the module and component. I have edited the Main Menu item "Home" (default page) and chose Phoca Documentation » List of Categories for the Menu Type. When I refresh the page, I can see one column with "Uncategorised (0/1)" and "No Subcategories" which is true for Uncategorised. I have about 30 Categories and Sub-Categories under them, so I can't see why the "List of Categories" is only finding Uncategorised. I cannot see anywhere in the Menu, Module, or Component where you can specify categories other than Uncategorised to use. Something isn't working right.

I have looked at all the posts in this forum. I have looked at the Documentation website. There is no readily available information for anyone on how to use this Component. We need help. I know that you have a job, don't get much money from this Component, and English is not your primary language, but if you can help me, I'd like to help you. I would be willing to write some documentation for you to use and translate into other languages if you can help me understand what needs to be done to make this Component work for the average user. I hope this would be helpful for you, and that more people would be willing to donate for this Component if they knew how it is supposed to work. Please let me know if I can help.

Hi, the module is not ready for 1.7 yet.

According the the Joomla extensions page http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions ... I7fQ%3D%3D, it shows Phoca Documentation is 1.5 native, and works on 1.6 and 1.7. If this is not true, maybe it should be changed?

How long before it can work on 1.7?
