Background color of Phoca gallery Slideshow plugin

I'd like to change the background color of the slideshow on my site. When the photo does not fit the installed window exactly there is a white border. Could it be chnged to another color or- preferably- transaparent.

I have read on other places in this forum about changes that have to be made in the phocagalleryslideshow.js file. There is only a php file that seems to have no reference whatsoever to background color setteings.

Can you please give me advice ?

Hi, no you cannot set transparent there, in fact while slideshow the images are set over each other, so if one image is small you will see the previous image instead - the color can be set e.g. to black - but for this the javascript of the slideshow needs to be customized.

Hello Jan,

Thank you for your answer. I use Joomla 1.6.6. and Phoca Gallery slideshow Plugin 3.0.3 . In this version there is no js file only a php file. the latter does not seem to have a colour setting in it. I treid installing phocagallery slideshow plugin2.7.1. but it does not work with this version of joomla. Do you know if I can find the corresponding javscript file anywhere ?

I solved it in a less sophisticated way: I made a new hidden category witch gray canvases for display in the slideshow.

Thanx for your great job on phoca site.
I have the same Problem. Can You put in the customized code as "Parameters" into the Plugin?
like BG=W or BG=B if posibel in form BG=#333333

This woud be a great featurte.
