Major Bug with new Version 1.8.7 beta

I had the previous version installed (1.8.6 beta) together with the random img mod and gallery tree mod.

curious about the new geotag feature I've upgraded, inserted my google map code and set up a gallery
with the new feature:

Now when you click onto the thumbnail, or the geotag icon the lightbox displays another gallery instead
of the google map.

this error occurs in ALL galleries now, when you try to open the pic via the thumbnails.

ALSO the Galery tree module is gone. no trace of it in the sourcecode.
Ive changed the template, re-installed the tree module, changed the position, and removed all ' without effect.

EDIT:
Deactivating the tree module and the random img module together with the geotag option in the general options don't change the error. still displays galleries instead of the images.

btw, If I add to many pictures to the gallery, I get a timeout (12 sec, can't change that) in the frontend.
I had to remove quite a few pics to get the (old, functioning one) gallery running again.
sometimes I even still have a timeout in the backend part (gallery, not the Categories), my workaround is to
add '&search=xxx' in the url (xxx being some name of a picture)

??? - maybe you have some problem with SEF, try to disable SEF, Jan

OMG. You were right! How silly of me...

the integrated SEF option mixed everything up entirely, but now it seems to work fine.

except for the gallery tree mod. that's still not there.

but thx for the one problem solved
