search plugin behaviour

Hi, when i use standard search in joomla 1.7.2, it´s working right and Searching returns correct phocadownload documents.
But, when i click in one of these "returned documents" instead showing "download file" page , it appears "category list" page.

I want to show "download file" page when i click on a document returned by search. is it possible? in fact, is it a normal behaviour of phocadownload search plugin?

Hi, the search plugin displays category list where the file is located, because the search plugin does not know that file can be displayed in file view. For such behaviour the plugin needs to be customized.

Echoing the need for phoca search FILE granularity. Forgive me - where do I find the other thread where this might be discussed?
