Phoca Download 2.1.4: Out of memory

We are trying to migrate from Joomla 1.5.25 to Joomla 1.7.3. We installed Phoca Download 2.1.4. When clicking "Files" in the Phoca Download backend component, only some fragments of the full page show up. When clicking "Categories" we get the following error message:

Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 57933824) (tried to allocate 20246 bytes) in /homepages/13/dxxxxxxxxx/htdocs/jupgrade/administrator/components/com_phocadownload/views/phocadownloadcats/view.html.php on line 90

We already switched our hosting package from 32 Mb to 60 Mb Memory. But still the same error. Does anyone have an idea how much memory the Phoca Download component needs? Does anyone have a solution how to run Phoca Download correctly?

(Phoca Download 1.3.9 with Joomla 1.5.25 worked perfect.)

Hi, normally, this can be problem in Phoca Gallery, while server (GD library) is making thumbnails but in Phoca Download, I don't know any place which should have memory demands

Could the error result of the fact that we have not installed our data in the root directory? Since we are in the process of migating we temporally installed our Joomla 1.7 site in the subfolder "/jupgrade" for testing. By the way: We also use Phoca Gallery and the thumbnailing works without problems. No out of memory...

Really no idea there, didn't get any time such problem in Phoca Download (the same in this forum, this is the first topic for this issue in Phoca Download )

I got it solved : I uninstalled all componentes/modules/plugins and installed them again, but at this time not as update but as new installation. Then I imported all the old data manually within the SQL database. Quite a bit of tricky work to do but successful. Now it works perfect again. Thanks for that wonderful component. PERFECT !!
