Hi, did you click on Full Install while installing, is the Phoca PDF Content plugin enabled?

Yes, I did a full install and I installed the plugin. I can run the control panel just fine. Don't know what to do or expect to see next. Do I have to do something specific on an article to get it to work for that article or should it just start showing the pdf icon for all articles. Can't find any doc on this.

Hi, nothing special, after installing the component (full install - in case everything is ok and article files were overwritten) and installing and eanbling the plugin, the icons are just installed.

Check all impoartant warnings on Phoca PDF site, e.g. if your template overrides the article outputs, such needs to be customized manually, see:

How is one supposed to know "if your template overrides Joomla! content files"?

Hi, just see some Joomla! documenation about MVC and you will see file in the template which override it.
