Uploading Videos via the Frontend

Hello all.. I'm running Phoca Gallery 3.1.1 on Joomla 1.7.3 and everything seems to be working as expected. I have enabled the end user, which is just one person, the rights to upload pics from the front-end using your docs. However he plans on doing Video blogs via YouTube and I was wondering is there a way for me to allow him to upload/embed them from the front end as well. Obviously from the back-end its simple, but I'd prefer to only do front-end uploads if all possible.

Also is it possible for the end user to create new categories from the front end as well, or is that only done on the back-end.

Ok.. I read an earlier post where uploading videos from the front-end is still in the works..

Any thoughts on my second question?

Hi,

1) 3.1.2 Beta includes uploading YouTube video from frontend - so you can test this version
2) creating new categories, see:
