Adding Item Details - Is there 'an easy way'?

Wonderful Component!

OK....

I've created 10 Categories with 20-30 images each, using 'Multiple Add' I could finish this in a matter of minutes.

Now I need to add 'Item Details' for each image.

As far as I can see the only way to do this is to go to each Gallery, select an image, Edit, and add the description manually for each.

I'm wondering if I'm missing something; is there an easier way within the Component, e.g., editing the DB directly or importing a list of descriptions?

Any one have a suggestion as to how to do this faster than editing 200-300 images one by one?

(Actually, with the time I saved uploading all the images, I don't think it'd be to bad if I had to edit each manually, but if there's an easier, faster way, I'd like to know....)

What exactly is an Item Detail? If you mean the description, there is no way how to add description other way

Thanks for the reply.

Mistake #1:

Item Detail = Image Detail

'Image Detail' is what shows when you mouse over the magnifying glass under the image.

Mistake #2:

I thought if a description was present, when mousing over the magnifying class it would show the description.

Sorry about the confusion....

Anyway, I did find a quicker way, editing the DB directly:

MySql > joomla > phocagallery > description > browse > choose image > edit

At the bottom of the screen, you have the option to save and continue to the next row, this works really well.
