Need help urgently, about Phoca Download Plugin

Hello everyone, I really need help. I have a website "" it run well before I installed Phoca Download Plugin. After installed plg_content_phocadownload_v2.1.6.zip from https://www.phoca.cz/download/category/3 ... oad-plugin, the website is crashed. I even can not open the homepage. It gave me an error "PLG_CONTENT_PHOCADOWNLOAD_PHOCA_DOWNLOAD_ERROR - PLG_CONTENT_PHOCADOWNLOAD_PHOCA_DOWNLOAD_NOT_INSTALLED_ON_YOUR_SYSTEM".

I tried to disable Phoca Download Plugin, but failed to access.

Anyone can help me with this? The website is not able to open now.

Hi,
if you have backend access try to install Phoca Download Component. (You receive the error messages, because the plugin misses the component.)

problem solved, I did "You should try to disable the plugin from phpMyAdmin, search for #__extensions (#__ is the table prefix you are using ) and search inside this table for your plugin. Switch the value for colum "enabled" for this plugin from 1 to 0."

Installed and enabled:
Phoca Download Component 2.1.8
Phoca Download Button Plugin 2.1.4
Phoca Download Plugin 2.1.4

This is what I get on certain pages:

PLG_CONTENT_PHOCADOWNLOAD_PHOCA_DOWNLOAD_ERROR
Error: PLG_CONTENT_PHOCADOWNLOAD_PHOCA_DOWNLOAD_ERROR
PLG_CONTENT_PHOCADOWNLOAD_PHOCA_DOWNLOAD_NOT_INSTALLED_ON_YOUR_SYSTEM

The error shows up only for the Public group; registered and logged in users do not get the error.

Any suggestions what is happening?

Hmm, try to check the cache settings if used - such message is displayed only in case the component cannot be found in your Joomla!

Same Problem and solved through setting enabled to 0 in the joom_extensions table via phpMyAdmin. It was the most recently added extension so it was simply the last record.
Could there be some sort of problem with the install for Joomla 3 Jan?
I tried clearing the caches to no effect and i tried reinstalling a number of times.
The installation package i used was was download/category/35-phoca-download-plugin on this site 3.x version.

Hi, try to clear the cache and reinstall the component manually (so it will be 100% removed) - see:

For now I cannot say what other can be in conflict, as written, this message is only displayed in case, Joomla! will not find the phoca download in the system
