File view instead of categoy link

Hello,
I just downloaded the Phoca download component en plugins. While testing I succeed adding a category link in an article. While clicking this category I receive a page with all the articles. Is there a possibility to view immediately in the article the files with the very nice layout (detail en download button, 'new'-icon,...). I only have 3 files in this category.

Hey,

You can try the next thing (i don't have try it by myself)
If you use the component you can choose by making a menu-item whatever you want.
I've the dutch version of joomla and phoca download but i hope i can translate it:
you have to go the menu click on the button: headmenu and add any menu-item
here you can select any type of menu-item (by clicking the select-button)
There you found in the list the following things:
Phoca Download
*List Of Categories (Categories View)
* List of Files (Category View)
*File View
* User Upload

So there you can choose what you want. I think you've "list of categories" and i think that you want: "file view".

when you copy the link you see if you clicked on the menu-item, i think you've the good link.

can I do this to show all buttons (preview, details & download etc.) using download plugin in articles? This will solve my problems in all.

Hi, there is no such option for now, this should be displayed with help of component.
