Filedownload doesn't start

Hi

I uploaded a 1.59GB big file via ftp and linked it to the frontend. The download doesn't start. Nothing happens. Can somebody tell my why?

I know, we had some customdays but could somebody give me an advice?

If I try to download the file directly (Link to location) it ors perfectly. Is there an issue with the spce between the lettes?

Hi, do you get some error message? Try to test limits on your server.

I do not get any Errormessage and I asked my Hostsupport - there is no limit on my Server. It just does not start to download. You can see shortly the bar wich shows you that the page loads and the its over and nothing hapend.

Hmmm, then really no idea what can be wrong, did you test it with different browsers on different OS?

Win7, WinXP, IE8, FF10 - different Users - everywhere the same.

I'll try a bit to fix it - we'll see.

Arghhh ... Problem is solved ... the filetype wasn't specified.

I just added to the options the following:

{nrg=nero}

Now it works
