Hello,
I am using Phoca PDF on a Joomla 2.5 site. I noticed two minor issues.
1. The "Publish Date" field for articles is blank. It shows the "Publish Date" text but not the date itself.
2. Instead of the article title being listed at the top of the page, the article category is listed.
An example of both issues can be seen here: http://www.durazestcanada.com/supplemen ... format=pdf
The main article the pdf is based upon can be seen here: http://www.durazestcanada.com/supplemen ... ji-berry-2
Notice the article title should be "Goji Berry 2" but instead it shows up as "Herbs".
If these issues can be resolved I am happy to contribute to this extension. Thank you for your time.

Re: Phoca PDF - minor issues
Thank you for the reply Jan. I tried the suggested solution but it did not work. The information was simply moved to the header area.
I added: {phocapdfheader}
Please take a look at the above link. You will notice the article title is now missing, and the Publish Date still does not appear. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Re: Phoca PDF - minor issues
I hate to be a pest but this is one of only 2 issues remaining on a brand new site. We would prefer to resolve the issue this week prior to launching the site. We love the Phoca PDF extension if we can get it to work properly. The issue occurs on all articles throughout the site. We have tried following the directions originally and upon your reply but there has been no positive effect in resolving this issue.
Sample article: http://www.durazestcanada.com/supplemen ... goji-berry
Sample Phoca PDF: http://www.durazestcanada.com/supplemen ... format=pdf
Issue 1 - The article name, "Goji Berry", does not appear at the top of the page.
Issue 2 - The text "Publish Date" appears in the PDF but not the date itself. At the top of the article it clearly shows a publish date but not in the PDF.
Any guidance you can offer would be appreciated.

If you set own header, then all the standard information will be skipped.

Re: Phoca PDF - minor issues
Jan, you have replied twice and neither response has provided any help at all.
The issue was originally present after installing the software. There was not a header set by me. Clearly the issue was present at that time.
You then offered the advice to change the header as per the link you shared. As per your suggestion, I made the change but the issue remained. Either way, with or without me setting the header, the issue is present.
I suspect your software is bugged. I tried to confirm by checking your demo (https://www.phoca.cz/demo/phocpdf-demo) but I receive a 404 error.
My experience with this software is as follows:
- I presented an issue on April 9th and it is still not resolved as of today, April 18th.
- the last response took a full 7 days
- your demo does not work
- your software appears to not work correctly
I am asking for your help here. If you are able to help, I will gladly support your product, make a donation, and use it on multiple Joomla sites. If you are not able to step up and resolve this issue I will be forced to uninstall Phoca and search for an extension developer who provides a working product. This is my final attempt to resolve this issue. I hope you are able to help.
I do not wish to be one of those people leaving negative feedback. I have never done such, but then I have never experienced this many issues with any Joomla extension.

Re: Phoca PDF - minor issues
Hi,
https://www.phoca.cz/demo/phocapdf-demo
Testing this site without any problem there
Anyway I will test the header information ASAP but as you can see, I have answered over 150 questions today after my regular work and there is really a lot of tasks to do, so sometimes - it is not possible to solve everything, mostly if you give over 100 extensions for free, manage over 1000 translation files and answer so much questions - see: https://www.phoca.cz/phoca-needs-your-help/
Thank you for understanding
Jan

Re: Phoca PDF - minor issues
Jan, first let me thank you once again for the reply.
Regarding the demo link, it is working now. I tried the link before from your Phoca PDF description page and it did not work. Next, I tried the "Copy Link" function from my browser which generated the link I shared. It seems the link has been updated on the site and is working now.
Regarding the software, it does indeed sound like you are a very busy guy. Personally I wish you charged for the software so you could have assistance and provide support without having to work so hard. I am willing to contribute some money if the software can be made to work correctly. If you have a support fee, I would be willing to pay for a bit of your time, as necessary, to resolve this issue. I have a highly skilled, professional developer working on my site and he was unable to get the software to work correctly.
I viewed the demo site but it was not helpful. First, there is only a single page I could find on the whole Phoca site which offered the PDF option and that was the demo page. The demo page does not offer a "Publish Date" so the issue naturally does not appear. Also, the article title has been modified. There is even an image of a ?seal added to the title and that image is no where on the actual article so it is clear some special modifications have been made.
My only needs are for the article title and Publish Date to appear exactly as they show in the article. Any guidance you can offer would be appreciated.

Re: Phoca PDF - minor issues
Hi, if no custom header will be set, then Phoca PDF displays the header information get them from Article options ( $document->getHeader() ). There are no specific rules for Phoca PDF, just rules and methods from article options will be taken.
So if you set what will be displayed in article, this will be displayed in PDF document, see image:
To fit the header exactly your needs, I think, then it (the plugin) needs to be customized directly in the code
