How do I register view users?

I have downloaded, uploaded, and installed Phoca Download.

I have uploaded files to the download folder.

I have three registered users on my website.

When I click on the download button for one of the files, it asks me for one of the user's logins and passwords. I type these in, and I can download the file.

Here are my questions.

1. When I click on the Users tab under Phoca Download Component, I DON'T see any users listed. HOw do I make the users visible?

2. Can I add users just for the downloads and not for the entire website?

I guess I don't understand registering users.

1) not sure what you exactly means?
2) Phoca Download uses standard Joomla! user's system, so users are managed by Joomla!

I have the same problem as newboid.

For whatever reason registered users of Joomla do NOT appear under the Users section of the Phoca Download control panel.

For example. I have 4,912 registered users in Joomla.
"Administration" can "see" the download files and can download them correctly.
However "Authors" cannot see the files nor are they able to download the files.

Under the Users tab in the Phoca Download Control Panel, no registered users, administration, or Authors or anyone show up.

How do I go about adding users into the Phoca Download CP in order to authorize people to become able to download files?

Hi, users can be displayed and managed in User view of Joomla!, in Phoca Download only users who have uploaded files are displayed. See other similar posts for more detailed information.
