Download stops half way

Greetings!

I have the latest Joomla installed (2.5) with the latest Phoca download plugin installed. My problem is when a client clicks DOWNLOAD, the file will stop anywhere from 50% to 60%. Any browser will state that the file has successfully been downloaded, but 40MB of 100MB was actually downloaded.

The file types are QuickTime files (.MOV).

The website is hosted through GoDaddy. Any suggestions as to why my files stop mid-download?

Hi, check your settings on the server, if the download will start, then everything what will happen, is between browser and server , so there the error needs to be found

I have a similar problem with mp3 files that range between 30 and 40 MB... the download stops anywhere. In order to test if the problem was my browser, I first tried downloading from all available browsers (IE, Firefox, Safari, Opera, Chrome) and the problem persisted.

Then I contacted my hosting provider, and the ran some tests telling me that everything looked ok on their side, and asked me to try downloading those files using the direct link (not using PhocaDownload). To my surprise, downloads work perfectly like that, so I guess that PhocaDownload is causing this.

Curious thing is that this problem started a couple of weeks ago. No problems at all before that, from the day I first set up PhocaDownload

Hi, in fact nothing was changed in Phoca Download during this months (maybe years regarding download function) ... As written many times, Phoca Download only gives information between server and browser ... download happens between server and browser

If you set direct link in Phoca Download settings, do you get the same problem?

Yes, I tested with the DIRECT LINK option, and same thing happens. Weird thing is it was working perfectly.
Only change I made was create a "members only" download section, but I am not sure if the problem has to do with that (in fact, problem occurs in all downloads).

I tried monitoring the download using Chrome Developer Tools, but I can't find anything.

I am really clueless here
