Hello,
After using the "Add multiple" function on hundreds of folders with jpeg files, I decided to change the right access on all categories from Public to Registered. At the end of the "Categories" page there is a small section : "Batch process the selected categories". I selected all the listed categories, changed the right access parameter from Public to Registred and asked to process. Result : each category had the Registered state but none of them kept the Parent Category value! Hierarchy was lost.
Is it normal? What can I do?
Thank you for help!
Batch process on selected categories kill the hierarchy!

Re: Batch process on selected categories kill the hierarchy!
I use Phoca 3.2.0 with joomla 2.5. I installed the phocagallery search plugin too. I created a list of categories with registered access only. To enter this list and to see the galeries, password is needed. If I do a search, I can reach the pictures without password because in fact the galeries are created public by default (Add Multiple). Changing them to registered one by one? I hope not: I have one thousand categories, yes Jan, one thousand, and about ten thousand pictures. Batch process could be a solution?

Hi, the problem is, the batch does not work like "move whole tree"... if you select e.g. move to root, all selected categories will be moved to root. So this can be problem if this will work reverse. Somebody would like to move all categories to root, but they will stay in their parent categories
