Hello Jan,
For an unknown reason, the Phoca PDF extension is not working properly on my site. The normal joomla print icon displays the article perfectly but the Phoca header is not showing correctly.
Issue 1 - the category name appears where the article title should be
Issue 2 - the text "Publish Date" appears but nothing after it (i.e. the date itself is missing).
A very experienced Joomla developer created the site and has reviewed the issue but cannot see anything wrong. I am willing to donate / pay for your time. I need to request for you or a member of your team to connect with my site and determine the root cause of this issue. Are you willing to do such?

Re: Phoca PDF - minor issues
Hi, try to check settings of the article - to display the date. I know this issue with the empty date but the problem is, Phoca PDF gets all the header information from the article, and there this date is missing. Why? still didn't found it ... still under review.

Re: Phoca PDF - minor issues
Thank you for the response.
Here is a link to a short test article: http://www.durazestcanada.com/supplemen ... 66-ginseng
Here is a link to the Joomla print version of the article: http://www.durazestcanada.com/supplemen ... nt=1&page=
Both the article and the print version appear perfectly. My only desire is for the PDF to appear just like the print version. Unfortunately that is not happening. For some reason the article title "Ginseng" is being replaced by the page category "Herbs". Also the "publish date" is not appearing in the PDF.
http://www.durazestcanada.com/supplemen ... format=pdf
I have reviewed the following link: https://www.phoca.cz/documents/48-phoca- ... ent-plugin
Currently the "Header" tab of Phoca PDF shows "Header Data" as blank. I have also tried adding {phocapdftitle} to the Header Data field but that did not help. I also tried adding {phocapdftitle} to the top of articles but that did not help either.
I will gladly perform any research desired or share access to the site if it is helpful.

Re: Phoca PDF - minor issues
I checked with the developer specifically to ensure the Joomla core files were available as per the installation instructions. Specifically:
from administrator/components/com_phocapdf/files/pdf/pdf.php to libraries/joomla/document/pdf/pdf.php
from administrator/components/com_phocapdf/files/com_content/views/article/view.pdf.php to components/com_content/views/article/view.pdf.php
from administrator/components/com_phocapdf/files/com_content/views/article/tmpl/default.php to components/com_content/views/article/tmpl/default.php
from administrator/components/com_phocapdf/files/com_content/views/category/tmpl/blog_item.php to components/com_content/views/category/tmpl/blog_item.php
from administrator/components/com_phocapdf/files/com_content/views/featured/tmpl/default_item.php to components/com_content/views/featured/tmpl/default_item.php
The developer replied he checked those specific files and they are in place and appear correct.
You suggested I check the settings of the article to display the date. Once again, the date displays correctly in the article and the print function. It seems if the date is appearing correctly, the settings must be correct too. What exactly would you like me to check?
The article shows a "Created Date" and "Start Publishing Date" of March 25th, 2012. There is no End Publishing date value.
The article itself is set to use all global options for what it presents.
Once again, we appreciate any guidance you can offer and are willing to pay you to fix the problem if we have caused the issue.

Re: Phoca PDF - minor issues
Hi, as written above in previous post - it is still under review - I still didn't find time to closer investigate, why Joomla! includes header information for the no html document without the date ... So Phoca PDF gets header information without date really cannot say without further testing it Please be patient - https://www.phoca.cz/phoca-needs-your-help/ (it is really really hard to find time for complicated issues in the night after regular work )

Re: Phoca PDF - minor issues
Jan, thank you for the update. Unfortunately, it did not resolve the issue.
I have done extensive testing and can provide more details on the error. If you cleanly install a J2.5 site, phoca works perfectly. If you have J1.7 and upgrade to J2.5, phoca has issues with some articles.
Below are links to a 100% clean Joomla site that was set up today. We installed J1.7, then upgraded to J2.5 and then added Phoca PDF latest version. We have done absolutely nothing else with the site at all. When J1.7 was installed, we chose to add Joomla test content.
Article that Phoca works on:
http://vitopianhealth.com/joomla/index. ... -beginners
Article that Phoca doesn't work on:
http://vitopianhealth.com/joomla/index. ... le-article
Any ideas about this bug?
