Non-Registered Users can view Registered Files

I have installed the Phoca Download component and created a category in it with the Access set to "Registered". I then uploaded a file and assigned it to this category. In the settings for this file, I also set the Access to "Registered". However, to test, I copied the URL from my browser while I was logged into the site (registered user) and pasted it in another browser where I was not logged in, and I could still view the PDF file. How do I adjust the settings so non-registered users are restricted from seeing this file?

Hi:

1) download link does not work for not registered if set (login page will be displayed instead the file)
2) direct link can be accessed - you can hide it with protecting the folder by .htaccess or adding files behind the public_html folder, see more information in similar posts in this forum.
