Details button only displays pop up

I'm setting up Phoca download on a J2.5.6 site.
After adding files everything seems to work correctly, but the details button only displays a popup with limited detail on mouse over. When the button is clicked it does not take you to the details page, the only change is the URL is appended with a #
the download button does take you to a details page (when the Display File View option is set to yes)

I looked through the documentation, the forums, and the news items for the J1.7-J2.5 versions; I can't see any information on how to set the Details Button to display the details page (the page with features, change log, etc).
I only see an option to display the details button.

I would like the details button to go to the details page with a download button at the bottom of that page.

Please let me know how to set the details button to work.

Looks like the Display Detail Button can display the details page, if it's set to "Yes modal box"

With downloads restricted to registered users, the modal box also requires a log in for the details to display .
I want the details to be public and the download to be restricted to a log in.

How do I set the details page to be public but restrict the file download to registered users.
I have the file access set to registered, and Display Inaccessible file set to yes.

Hi,

detail button can display details in overlib or details in popup window. To go to File View (details of an file on standard page) you need to click on download button (or customize it directly in the code to set this function for Detail button)

ok, I'll look at making that modification to the code, to get the details of a file on standard page function for Detail button.

What about getting the details to display when the download is restricted to registered users?
