bug - modal box opens full browser screen sometimes

Post by Sunlust »

Hi,

I have noticed that sometimes (really randomly) when you click an image in the gallery, it opens in full browser windows, and the "turn off" button in the controls at the bottom doesn't work, the slideshow does, clicking next and previous works too, but there's no other way of turning off the gallery than to type the url of the website again and open the image again.

it's really weird, I will attach a screenshot when it happens again, it's really random, I can't say what triggers it.
I would say it only happens 1/20 times when I open the gallery, happened in IE7, Firefox 2, haven't tested in other browsers.

I think there's 2 possibilities, why system does that:

1) Page isn't loaded completely. I have at least seen this with other components, that if user is "too fast", modalboxes are not opening, and browser is opening new window instead.

2) Some module conflicting, but it usually makes that error all the time. (I encountered this with Club26 fisheye menu, which uses Mootools).

It doesn't open the new window, if it did then I wouldn't mind, it takes the current window and expands filling it all, making it useless, people can't get back on the website in any other way than to retype the url.

Hm, the only other "custom" modules are Special HTML by Camp26.com, but nothing else that's fancy.
