I have changed the guest user group from the default PUBLIC in joomla to GUEST for some dual menu configurations I needed.
When I did this, anyone can click on my submit link and it will automatically show them the user upload screen without asking for login. When i change the default joomla user group back to PUBLIC instead of GUEST, the login works again. Are there settings in the files within phocadownload that I can indicate that PUBLIC is not the default usergroup to block anymore, and I would like to use the usergroup GUEST instead? I need it to ask for login credentials from the user group GUEST instead of PUBLIC now.
Thanks!
When not logged in, anyone can still upload!

Hi, in Phoca Dowload Options, you can set which group will be takes as "registered", so then the group will behave like "registered"
But not sure if this can fit exactly your needs
