Don't want P. Download to appear in the main menu

Hello

I am installing P. Download for the first time - 2 questions:

1. I can't find a comprehensive set up manual - is there one?

2. I want to have a page which I direct people to to download my pdfs & mp3s that is not a menu item easily found by the public. I don't want P. Download in the main menu, but rather want links to my pdfs & mp3s to appear on a page of my choosing that is not visible in the main menu. How can I do this?

2) this is more a general Joomla! question - depends on you where you will create a menu link to phoca download.

Is it possible to have the downloads appear in my existing article which has explanatory text and is not in the main menu? I know I can make a hidden menu link for the downloads - but not clear how to have them appear on my desired, existing page. Thanks if you can help. M.
