PDF Icon in Phoca Restaurant Menu Not Working

Hi,

I wish to get some help from somebedy among you with the pdf icon in the Phoca Restaurant Menu.Clicking on it it says 'Phoca PDF Restaurant Menu Component or Phoca PDF Restaurant Menu Plugin is not installed or it is disabled'.

I have this installation:

Joomla! 1.5.23
Phoca Restaurant Menu 1.1.2
Phoca PDF Component 1.0.9

As the Phoca Restaurant Menu component is installed, and working correctly, it must be the Phoca PDF Restaurant Menu Plugin that makes the troubles. When I open the Phoca PDF Control Panel - > Plugins, I can see the following tabs only:

Content ----
Site - Header - Footer - PDF

but no PDF Restaurant Menu plugin. In the Joomla! Extensions --> Plugin Manager I have only Phoca PDF plugin but nothing like Phoca PDF Restaurant Menu plugin.

Can somebody provide any help with what is wrong with my installation and/or settings? Best thanks in advance for instructions on how to get the PDF icon in the Daily Menu, for example, to work correctly and open a PDF document after clicking on it.

do you use the Phoca Restaurant Menu Pro version?
If not, it can not work.

Hi Benno,

I think so but I am not sure. I can see Daily Menu, Weekly Menu, Bill of Fare, Beverage List, Wine List, Breakfast Menu, Lunch Menu and Dinner Menu in the Control Panel of the component. I can add groups and items in all of them without any problems. The menus display correctly on the website. Just the pdf icon seems not to work correctly. Hence, I think I have a pro version but without pdf functionality. To my best knoweldge, the Lite version offers just the Daily Menu. Right?

If just the Phoca PDF Restaurant Menu plugin is missing in my installation, is there no option to download just the plugin from somewhere and install it additionally? I suppose it shall be listed in the Plugin Manager of Joomla!, but in mine there is nothing alike. On the phoca.cz website my search for a download link failed.

Hi Benno,

Thanks for confirmation my version is a Pro one. I will have to consult this functionality with my customer, as I am not the original coder of his website. I came to it after he fired my predecessor. As soon as he decides he needs the PDF functionality, I will definitely contact Jan.
