Hi all, I'm new to Joomla but I'm learning it pretty quickly. I've installed Phoca Gallery and created a category and was even able to put my first photo in the category.
My problem is that I created a link to the main menu named 'gallery' which pointed to the category list layout page. Now when I log into the front of my site and click the 'gallery' link, it takes me to a page that is all text.
Basically it looks like this:

My site theme is completely missing and no graphics are on this page. Just the text.
There's probably something simple I'm missing, but I can't find any help in the manual so thought I'd ask here.
Thanks in advance,
Katt

I'll go ahead and set the gallery to public so you can see what I mean.
Here's a link directly to the gallery page:

On the site there is missing some code from the framework... Try to reinstall Phoca Gallery... but maybe reinstalling or uprading the whole joomla should be done... because the css should be loaded by joomla framework ... ???

Re: Gallery Page losing Site Theme
Everything is the newest version. This site was created last week with the newest Joomla and newest Phoca Gallery. As you can see its the starter theme straight out of the box.
I can try reinstalling Phoca, but don't see how that will make a difference.
Its all right out of the box.
---
edit: I've now reinstalled and its doing the same thing.

Hi,
Do you know that Joomla has released version 1.5.5 this week? (3 weeks after releasing 1.5.4) I wouldn't know if that causes the problem. (I'm using 1.5.3. myself, and everything is working ok)

Re: Gallery Page losing Site Theme
Thanks, mine is 1.5.2 I'll try to figure out how to upgrade it. Still very new at this.
---
Edit:
Patched Joomla up to 1.5.5 Reinstalled Phoca Gallery. Still same problem.
http://www.glamourjulie.com/index.php/j ... eo-gallery
Still comes up just as text.
If no one finds a fix for this soon I'll have to get a different gallery program.

Re: Gallery Page losing Site Theme
Yes I tried changing the template. However it SHOULD work with the templates given with the start up of Joomla.
I'm going to scrap this and try a different Gallery.
Sorry but after 3 days of trying I'm giving up.
