Hi, few weeks ago, I migrated from Joomla 1.5 to 2.5. I followed your method to do it and all my previous files are ok.
Today I just try to download and after re-activate the front-end upload, if I make a test, when I click Start Download, Error 404 is occured.
I upgrade to PhocaDL 2.1.7, I verified folder access rights (chmod705), I tried to stop URL rewriting but still the same issue.
Here are configuration :
Linux web442.start.ha.ovh.net 3.2.2-grsec-mutu-grs-ipv6-64 #1 SMP Thu Jan 26 14:55:34 UTC 2012 x86_64
Version de la base de données 5.1.49-3-log
utf8_general_ci
PHP 5.3.16
Apache/2.2.X (OVH)
Joomla! 2.5.7 Stable [ Ember ] 13-September-2012 14:00 GMT

Thanks for any help

Hi, see similar posts (component loading Error) in this forum, see this too: https://www.phoca.cz/documents/16-joomla ... m-manually (there can be useful information too)

Re: error 404 when start dowload (front-end)
Hi, I found in the menu links, a lot of links, even if its works, in the admin list, was unpublish and "link type" appears as
"component 'com_phocadownload' doesn't exist".
It is the case for yours components (phocagallery and download) and AllEvents for schedule ! I don't already look in the database but in administrator part.
SOLUTION :
if I select again the type (list of file, user upload...) it works again. Any comment?

Re: error 404 when start dowload (front-end)
Hi, I don't know what kind of problem there can be, this is related to all possible extensions in Joomla! (somewhere in this forum, there is a link to Akeeba site, where there is an article described this problem)
