Front end only showing parameters

When I insert parameters in the articles that is all that shows on the front end. Any idea what I am doing wrong or what could be causing that?

This is what I see on the front end:
{phocadownload view=category|id=3|text=Testing Title Field|target=s}

I had the wrong version of the plugin. Once I installed the different version everything started working. Thank you.
