UPLOAD FAILED errors

Post by dhlanas »

wassup guys!

please, I need your help!

my website has a frontend image upload through phoca gallery... and that was working 100% untill i copied the hole joomla structure to the root directory... i've tried many things... like including this 2 lines in my .htaccess:
SecFilterEngine Off
SecFilterScanPOST Off

i've also changed the permissions on both (admin and not admin) com_phocagallery directories and files to 777chmod and it still dont work!

in frontend there's no error message (maybe because of my template) but in backend when i try to upload some image sometimes i see the "upload failed(403)" and sometimes "upload failed read/write error".

does anybody have some idea of what is happening there? :x

thanx!

Maybe because of the image file paths which are stored in database ... maybe there are some problems with paths to the images, maybe some problem with path to the place where the images should be saved ... :-(

hmm.. maybe in the code of the component? i mean, theres a possibility that its pointing to a different folder?
cause i've already changed the chmod to 777 in the default folder (images/phocagallery)... :(

(the last time i opened filezila, i noticed that the owner of this folder is "99 99"... different from the others.. could be that?)

thank you very much! and forgive my english mistakes!
