Phoca Download Plugin not working

I'm unable to get my download link to work.
The actual phoca code is displayed and not converted, i.e.

{phocadownload view=category|id=9|text=Membership Forms|target=b}

The html produced from JCE is:

Hi!
I have got the same problem. Our site was on J. 1.7 and now updated to 2.5.7 and last version of phocadownload, all the phocadownload links (content plugin button) are not working.
If I do it manually like you, the code appears but not the link to the download page... annoying !

Is the code set in article content (where content articles can be coverted), is the Phoca Download Plugin enabled?

I don't know what I've done - as I haven't touched the Phoca stuff for a month, but it is working now. I can only think I upgraded something and didn't check this problem. Maybe JCE?
