i am interested in this as well as I have the same problem. the issue being that you have to specify a fixed height and width for the model box (lightbox effect) which means it doesn't resize depending on the size and orientation of the image.

please visit www.temwa.org/gallery.html and click on the gallery section.

all my images are 600 x 400, but switch between landscape and portrait, so i find the portrait ones are automatically reduced in size.

please could you advise on how best to deal with portrait and landscape images in the same gallery. i looked at all your demo's but they all seem to be the same orientation.

i have notice many versions of the traditional lightbox method, automatically resize on each image. is this something you are planning to include in the phoca gallery?

thanks,

chris

See my demo site (wallpapers), there are both types of an image ...

- the landscape was automatically created as 640 x 480 px and the portrait was automatically created as 360 x 480 ... so there is no problem if user goes from landscape to portrait and back... both have the same height - 480 px ... so should it work for you too.
