Number of thumbnails across

I am in the process of converting all my photopages to phoca gallery as in general I think it is easiest to use. I am running into some issues though, and hope with this post to have the most important ones solved:

In this page for example I just uploaded the latest addition to my site. My Rockettheme template is 910 pixels wide, and it seems there is enough room to have 5 thumbnails across, but it won't do it. I have gone over all the parameters many times, but can't seem to get it done. What and where do I need to change something?

Also, if the above is not possible, how do I center the gallery on the page?

As I would often like to write something about the pictures on the same page, I am using the gallery plugin to put the content in an article. The code is centered in the article, but it doesn't show it like that

Adding a gallery to a menu-item seems to give me many more options, i.e. likes, hits, comments etc. Is this possible using the plugin?

Hi, they are stored in float box, so you need to resize the thumbnails:
