Chrome Download Issue

Hi,

Is anyone else experiencing this aside from me?

In my Chrome browser when I try to download a file (.zip for example), Chrome tries to open the file and at the same time downloads it, it leaves the original page and I end up on a white screen with the download URL in the address bar.

Download is okay in FF and IE, no modifications were made to PhocaDownloads too. I tried other file downloads on the site and they are okay too. Just the files in PD are behaving that way in Chrome.

Is this a Chrome bug or is this a problem on my side?

Hi, try to test your browser, if it does not include any plugin making such behaviour testing now and get no such problem

Thanks for your response. I am quite positive that it is not plugin related. I tried a regular .zip download on my site and its working okay. But for the case of phocadownloads, it leaves the current page and goes to the .zip download resulting in a white screen with the download url in the address bar.

Only happens with Chrome and files in Phocadownloads.

Hmm, really no idea what can be wrong there, maybe you should try to enable php error reporting and you will get some php error message instead of blank page
