in this few days i'll translate phoca gallery
but pleas i need some help... i put my transslate in languages/sr-YU but it doesn't work...
i put it too in languages/en-GB but steal don't work..
what is the problem?

i put my translate named en-GB.com_phocagallery.ini (but it's on Serbian) in folder languages/en-GB and stil dont work...

First your serbian language must be enabled in front and in backend
Second, your file should have the following name:
sr-YU.com_phocagallery.ini
not:
en-GB.com_phocagallery.ini

Listen in folder languages/en-GB i have two files :
- en-GB.com_phocagallery.ini
en-GB.com_phocagallery.menu.ini
and i have translate them and give thema a name's:
- sr-YU.com_phocagallery.ini
sr-YU.com_phocagallery.menu.ini
and put them in folder languages/sr-YU
my default language is sr-YU ...
can u explain mesomething more about that

Did you also put them in administrator/languages/sr-YU ?
languages/sr-YU is for the frontend (so the text is translated when you hold your mouse above the buttons in the detail view)
administrator/languages/sr-YU is for the backend
And in the language settings you have to have set the default language in both front and backend (website and administrator) to sr-YU
(so you need to have a translation for the joomla framework, but I guess you've already done that).
I hope this makes it all clear...

but there is no en-GB.com_phocagallery.ini in administrator/languages/en-GB ....

ohw, I didn't know that,
but did you try to put your language-files in the administrator/languages/sr-YU folder? And then checked whether or not it was translated in the backend?
