Can't get phoca download plugin to display link

I have the phoca download plugin installed and enabled, but when I try to insert link, I see it on the front end as {phocadownload view=file|id=3|text=Beit Bylaws|target=s}, as if it isn't enabled. I'm inserting it into a regular article.

So I did some more testing - it's only happening when I'm not logged in on front end, and the file requires registered user or above. The issue is I have an article with a list of documents, which require you to be logged in. But if you're not logged in yet, you're seeing the phoca code for the plugin instead.

And now I see an option in the setup for each file, where you can choose to display inaccessible file, but choosing that still shows the phoca code, and not the download link.

Hi, if you see the code in article, then the phoca download plugin is not installed or enabled.

I have the same problem but with phoca gallery plugin.
I have installed and enabled both "Phoca Gallery plugin" and the "Phoca Gallery Button plugin". If i try to include any pictures from the gallery to a download description (within phoca download) it just shows the code in the frontend, instead of any pictures:
{phocagallery view=categories|imagecategories=1|imagecategoriessize=0}

EDIT: Just testet it: in article it works but in download description it don't.
I cant believe that phoca gallery don't work together with phoca download.

Thank you Jan for your Reply. I see what code i have to change, but in which file do i have to look for it?
I want to show Gallery Pictures inside of the Description for Downloads. But i can't find either the corresponding line, nor even the php file...
