Hi Jan
I'm porting a "standalone" PHP website to Joomla 1.5 RC3 and I'm trying to handle pictures with your Phoca Gallery.
Actually it looks like I have only one big issue with PG: colors. It's all going great, but it looks like that I always get the followinx fixed code in the <head> section of the generated pages, despite any configuration of the Phoca Gallery:
#phocagallery .name {color: #135cae ;}
.phocagallery-box-file {background: #fcfcfc ; border:1px solid #e8e8e8 ;}
.phocagallery-box-file-first {background: #f5f5f5 ;}
.phocagallery-box-file:hover, .phocagallery-box-file.hover {border:1px solid #135cae ; background: #f5f5f5 ;}
Let me state that I completely changed these colors in the administration panel, and that my changes result as saved.
However, I think you're doing a great work here.
Take care of it!
Michele

HelloFOU
Hello
FOUND! I was looking in the global settings, instead of look better at the single component settings. So now it's all done.
Pity for the troubles with modal popups with Explorer.
Bye!

I'm having a si
I'm having a similar issue, sort of.
I'm trying to change the background color of the popup window(the one that pops up after clicking an image in the gallery) (using standard window, not modal) and no matter what I do the bg color of that window is always white.
I've changed every hardcoded instance of bgcolor(html/php), background:#(css), and $background_color (js) that I could find within the files; as well as set all of my bg colors in both global config and menu config to the same color; and I am unable to change the bgcolor of the popup window, at all... but all other bgcolors that I set are working properly.
Could you possibly shed some light on what I need to do in order to change the bg color of the popup window? I'd appreciate it very much so.

The Popup window is
The Popup window is a part of Joomla framework, it is not part of Phoca Gallery, you must search outside the Phoca Gallery, I think. Now I am not on my computer, I will look at it an let you know where to change it, soon...

Re: Colors problem
Please, help me with that - I do changes in "Parameters Component" window (I need 2 columns and other colors for better view), the dialog window always says that new params are saved, but nothing happens at all. I'm sure you have better idea of why default params don't want to be changes although there is no error when saving them through backend?Menu - e.g. Main Menu - e.g. Phoca Gallery - Parameters Component - Detail View Settings - Detail Window Background Color

Re: Colors problem
I thought I had the same problem... as Jan mentioned the solution can be in the configuration of the menu where you link the gallery catergorie. looks like not all items are inherited.
By the way Jan, I've just downloaded Phoca for the first time today... and it' great, really great ! many thanks for the effort.
