Version 2.1.8 Phoca Download
I have uploaded documents as a registered user, and then I go to that list of documents in the frontend and try to delete one. The list of previously uploaded documents does not show up there at the top of the upload form. Therefore I cannot delete any.
If I do the same thing as a Super User, then I see the list of files and I can delete them. So I suppose I have a "permissions" problem for the registered user. But I just can't find out how to correct that permissions setting. Am I looking for permissions on a specific category? permissions on a specific user group (registered), or a specific user? or the component itself ?
any help appreciated
Dave

Re: display previously uploaded documents
disregard .. I did not understand correctly. It is amazing .. two hours reading and investigating to try to find the problem. Then five minutes after I post the question .. I realize the misunderstanding. As usual the problem was found somewhere between the chair seat and the keyboard
.
The document list did not show up on the top of the user upload screen because the current frontend user was not the one who uploaded the documents. The current user did not upload any documents yet, so there was no list to see .. even though the current user has all rights to access the list of documents other users uploaded to the same category.
hope that helps someone ..
cheers
