Forced login when downloading file

I'm using the phoca download plugin in articles to place downloads in the text. But when a user clicks, he is forced to login. I don't want that; i want an user to directly download the file. All files, menu-items, folders etc are set to 'public'.

I came across similar topics, but they all didn't have a real solution.

Any help would be great!

Hi, as default all files are public, so try to set your Phoca Download to default (see file rights, categories rights, menu link rights, ...)
